Rooted in Light, I believe there is significant connections to our current behaviour, emotions, and thoughts. I visualize each person as a tree, roots that are connected to experiences, feelings, and memories. As we grow, we create new connections, branching in different ways. Roots are also a subtle nod to growing up in the country. Light, I have two children, and both of their names coincidentally mean “light” in various languages. They are such a big part of me that the name needed to include them in a way. But also, how fitting, we are all trying to grow towards light- happiness.
